Lemon pasta

Lovely pasta with lemon serves 4 persons and preparation time of 15 minutes.


  • 750 grams tomatoes (Datterino of Roma)
  • 350 gram fresh spaghetti
  • Juice of 1 large sorrento lemon
  • Stracciatella cream cheese (mozzarella torn into pieces and mixed with single cream)
  • Fresh basil
  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • Olive oil with garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


Heat the pan and add extra virgin olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, basil and chili flakes. Add the lemon juice and melt the ingredients together over low heat.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta. Put a cup of the cooking liquid aside before you drain the pasta. Stir the tomato-lemon sauce into the pasta and add a few tablespoons of the cooking liquid from the pasta to the sauce if desired.

Remove the pan from the stove and add olive oil with garlic, fresh basil and stracciatella cream, cheese to taste, and if desired, grated lemon rind.
